How long does it take to get an interview after biometrics I 485?
You'll receive notice of your Interview approximately 4-10 months after filing Form I-485. Within 4-10 months of your initial application, you'll receive Form I-797 (Notice of Action).
What Happens After the Biometrics Appointment? After you complete your biometrics screening, the biometrics officer will stamp your appointment letter. When you receive your interview notice, you're generally going to have about six or four weeks to get your case ready for interview. And they're going to tell you that interview date four or six weeks down the road. And that'll be plenty of time to get your medical exam in a sealed envelope.
